Starting from October to December, every weekend, for eight weeks, the International Fair of the White Truffle of Alba takes place, the world’s largest exhibition of truffles from the Piedmont hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. The fulcrum of the event is the market, hosted in the Maddalena courtyard, where during the “Alba Truffle show” you can participate in meetings with world-famous chefs, tastings and tasting courses. In addition to the precious truffles, it is possible to taste and buy the gastronomic specialties of the area such as wines, liquors, cheeses, pasta, cured meats, sweets, chocolate, mushrooms, and the famous Piedmont hazelnuts and chestnuts from Cuneo.
Moreover inside the market there is an area reserved to the tasting of Langhe and Roero wines.
